It’s really worth it.

You spent a lot on your mac, you spent a lot on your wifi router. Your wifi router is probably auto-assigning a very congested wifi channel. This is a great tool to find the channels that have a little more breathing room.
Also a great tool to monitor your wifi signal as you walk around the house.
This tool and the authors other tool wifi signal are the best i’ve found.
